Making Good Men Better

Bankstown Daylight, #996

Enjoy the Experience of Daylight Masonry. A wide variety of lodge activities, with your Partner in convivial ambience, easy travel, enjoyable social functions- it all makes for a most pleasurable Experience.

Our Lodge, which was consecrated in 1988, meets on the 1st Saturday of each month at the Punchbowl Masonic Centre, Arthur Street, Punchbowl and tyling at 9.30am.

Being a daylight lodge, our standard of dress is a dark lounge suit, white shirt and collar, dark knotted tie, black shoes and socks.

We are a small, active lodge of members who are aged 55 years plus, who are from a range of occupational backgrounds, and who are, for various reasons, unable to attend evening lodges. It is these masons who choose to continue their masonic attachments, and at the same time, enjoy a pleasant luncheon in the company of their wife or partner.

Our Ladies of the lodge are the wives of our members as well as widows of past members, all of whom are most welcome at the festive board. The Ladies form an integral part of our Lodge as they assist (where necessary) in the preparation of our luncheons, and contribute to our social committee.

In the lodge room, we observe and maintain all the masonic practices, ceremonials, and rites as in an evening lodge. However, as some members have difficulties associated with age, therefore understanding and tolerance is applied with compassion.

Socially, we are active- Club luncheons, theatre parties, BBQ picnics, etc- all are held at regular intervals and during daylight hours.

We are a lodge based on family values, understanding and caring, hence our motto “Active and Caring”.  Our Daylight Lodge is a thoroughly pleasant Experience.

Enjoy Lodge,
Enjoy Life,
Enjoy the Experience of both at Bankstown Daylight.
